If you’ve lived in Edmonton for any length of time you’ve heard about the neighbourhood of Bonnie Doon. The name was taken from the Scottish for “Pleasant, rolling country side” way back in 1907. Edmonton and Strathcona were still fighting about who should get to annex it.
